London Zoo Streaking for TIgers 2014
Tiger enthusiasts unleashed their wild side Thursday, as hundreds ran naked through London Zoo to raise money for tigers.
With nothing but a pair of trainers, participants kicked off the five minute fun run at 20.00 (19.00 GMT) next to the zoo’s central court. After completing the 300 metre dash, contestants took pictures with a tiger mascot; some in full tiger body paint, others in just a mask.
The rules of the nude dash stipulated that participants were only permitted to wear trainers and body paint during the 300 metre jog, and that all attendees must were to wear clothes on entering and leaving the zoo. The charity event Streak for Tigers is becoming an annual event, with participants managing to raise nearly £40,000 (€50,000/$66,740) last year.
